Tasty Tuesday - Raw Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls!

As promised, today we're making the world's best (and easiest!) all-raw chocolate peanut butter balls. Seriously, after you have your peanut butter made, this is a 2 minute recipe that I find myself relying on constantly when I'm bugged for a quick snack for hungry kiddos, and a cookie that you can feel good about giving them. Try this once and you'll be hooked, too! ;o)

Ready for another goofy-yet-informative video? :o)

For easy reference, here's the recipe in short:
3 cups coconut
1 cup raw cocoa powder
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup melted cocoa butter, regular butter or coconut oil
1/4 - 1/2 cup peanut butter
handful raisins
splash of vanilla

Mix all of the above, form into balls and lick your fingers thoroughly! ;o) Have fun and get creative with this great lil' recipe! (I find that even without the peanut butter these are perfectly yummy, in case you're intolerant or would like something a little less rich).

I'll get on Mary to catch you up on what's been going on these gorgeous fall days, since she has such a great way of putting even the simplest of things :o).

Until next week, in which mayonnaise is made easy.. ;o)!

  1. I made some peanut butter the other day and it is the best I have had! I like to eat it with my homemade raw butter too :) Thank you for Tasty Tuesdays, this recipe sounds like a winner.

  2. Oh these bring back happy childhood memories of making raw treats and rolling them in chopped hazelnuts or cocoa powder or coconut and then eating the whole lot in one go because they're just too tasty to leave in the fridge. Must give these a go, they sound like little Reese's cups. Nom nom nom.
